Global Hub

The made.ceo G-Hub relies on having a large pool of motivated student entrepreneurs currently enrolled in a participating college or university in Africa. The prospective student entrepreneurs must have done some work to develop their startup ideas prior acceptance into G-Hub program. The G-Hub program focuses on helping entrepreneur teams at the earlier stages with need-finding, or helping at the later stages with funding. If a school is interested in starting a made.ceo G-Hub program, we recommend contacting us at made.ceo@tasen.us

In order to establish a pilot program in an institution, made.ceo requires a dedicated space on campus, a prospective list of interested student-led startups and a list of alumni entrepreneurs to get their perspectives.

Key resources that we provide: (1) a small grant to get companies going; (2) mentorship and advice from expert investors and operators; (3) a supportive global community of like-minded student entrepreneurs; and (4) access to further funding and investor connections.

To accomplish these goals, we designed a made.ceo G-Hub as a ten-week program with the following structure:

  • Once or twice-weekly speaker sessions and workshops

  • Matching with mentors, who meet with their teams 2–3x

  • Social events and mid-quarter check-ins with teams

  • Final demo day to investors, press, and broader Startup community

  • $1k - $5k equity-grant, as well as free or discounted startup resources from Amazon, Google, Microsoft etc.
